The project in a few words 
This project aims to replace the dashboard of a car by an LCD display system. Initially with the standard characteristics of a "traditional" dashboard : speed, distance, rpm, indicators, etc... In a second time, the question is to add comfort functionalities like rear cam, skinability, MP3 player, GPS navigation, special contextual modes, etc...

Objective of this site
The purpose of this site is tho share this project with you by presenting it, as well as its conceptor. Then I'll be able to centralize the information which I can provide to you in only one place, in order to facilitate the communication about it.
Ih the Description section the project is describend in details, supported by photos and videos. You will also find future developments in progress.
In the Who ? section I try to introduce me, so you will know who develops this project.
Lastly, in the Contact section you will be able to contact me to give your opinion, send your ideas, hiring proposals, ...

Why that name ?
Actually there are several reasons : The first one is that my usual nickname is "Zorro" (on Internet it is rather Zorro_X), so "Z-Car" like "Zorro's Car". The second reason is that the car where the prototype is currently tested/installed is an old car and "Z-Car" also commonly means "second-hand car" or rather "old second-hand car", which corresponds well with this platform of test & development. Lastly, the word cockpit is just for fun like a wink to the aeronautical word.
